Sharp has joined with the I3 (I-cubed) research center in Kawasaki to develop a new 60-inch LCD TV that produces a superb 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution. The company will introduce the prototype of this 4K LCD TV at CEATEC 2011 Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan. Sharp has also announced that the 60-inch 4K LCD TV will be released in Japan next year.
