OCZ Technology has unveiled the Octane SATA 3.0 and Octane-S2 SATA 2.0
SSD series. The Octane SATA 3.0 provides read speeds of 560MB/s and
write speeds of 400MB/s, while the Octane-S2 SATA 2.0 features read
speeds of 275MB/s and write speeds of 265MB/s. Both SSDs use the
Indilinx Everest platform to deliver up to 45,000 IOPS. Available in
128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB of storage capacities, these storage devices
have a dual-core controller chip and up to 512MB cache. No word on
